Instruments attached to the vacuum freeze-drying equipment are required to have CIP and SIP resistance. In this article we describe a sapphire-based capacitance diaphragm gauge suitable for use with the vacuum freeze-drying equipment, in which the sensor chip is optimized for CIP process.
