要約(日本語): Life cycle CO2 emission factor of coal, heavy oil, natural gas, hydraulic, geothermal, and nuclear (from 2020) power generations and imported electricity (from 2010) are evaluated in this study. Coal is extracted by surface mining. Heavy oil is from crude oil extracted on off-shore of Vietnam. Natural gas is associated gas along with crude oil extraction. Imported electricity is from Laos.
Life cycle assessment (LCA) is applied for evaluating. Operational, manufacturing equipment and construction emissions in each step from raw material required to electric generation of each power generation system are calculated.
The results show that the life cycle CO2 emission factors of coal, heavy oil, natural gas and hydraulic power generation in Vietnam is 401.78 g-C/kWhe, 252.33 g-C/kWhe, 132.05 g-C/kWhe, 3.1 g-C/kWhe, respectively. In condition of power generation structure in 2003, CO2 emission factor of power generation is 110 g-C/kWhe. In the future, emission factor varies around 110 g-C/kWhe and be 118 g-C/kWhe by 2020.
