要約(日本語): This research intends to find the cheapest way of using sugar cane bagasse, CTL (Cane Tops and Leaves) and trash (naturally dried cane leaves) and calculate the Brazilian overall capacity to electric energy generation using high efficiency technology. Two logistics for CTL and trash collecting are considered. One uses baling process, while the other includes an adapted harvester, able to shred and collect loose CTL. The results showed the baling system as more cost effective because of the reduction in biomass volume and heating value increase. Furthermore, CTL and trash permitted a reduction in MWh cost and increased Brazilian electric energy potential.
