要約(日本語): Ageing deterioration is most concerned about among various performances of polymer insulators. Ultraviolet radiation is considered one of important factors for surface deterioration. UV radiated surface was considered to be much more deteriorated compared with that without UV radiation.
High Temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber sheet specimens having different amount of fillers with and without surface treatment were used in this investigation. By surface analysis results, more chemical changes were obtained on the specimen with lower amount of filler and without surface treatment.
