要約(日本語): Dispersed generations (DG) nowadays are predominantly connected to utilities grid via circuit breakers and distribution transformers. Under certain conditions, the utility power source is unintentionally disconnected from the feeder, then the isolated section of the local grid being supplied by the DG is referred to as an island. This condition of islanding is conventionally undesirable because of the potential harm on existing equipments, human safety, power quality and so forth. This paper presents a novel islanding detection method by measuring the difference of negative and positive sequence impedance between islanded and utility connections which based on Symmetrical and Clarke transformation.
