要約(日本語): The purpose of this paper is to estimate electricity consumption in residential areas using regression analysis. Regression models for each season are created for demand prediction related with climatic conditions as explanatory variables. Meteorological parameters such as temperature and relative humidity are used as factors influencing residential electricity consumption. To examine and validate the models, some statistical tests are used such as t-ratio, adjusted coefficient of determination, and Durbin-Watson statistic. The results indicate the significance of the explanatory variables for almost seasons and show that the autoregressive model of the error terms gives better estimation.
