要約(日本語): A load analysis is done to investigate the electricity demand characteristics in Japan. Electricity consumption models for a half year are developed by using multiple regression analysis. As independent variables, meteorological data and a dummy variable of holidays are used to consider the impact on the demand. To assess proper variables implemented in each models, preliminary analysis for temperature is carried out. Next, some common statistical tests are utilized as well. The models are also examined by forecasting its demand. The results show the significance of variables and how they affect the demand characteristic. Moreover, the demand is forecasted well.
