要約(日本語): Nowadays, as a countermeasure against the global warming, it is expected to install a large amount of renewable energy sources such as wind power generation and photovoltaic generation (PV) into power systems in the near future. However, these are uncontrollable power sources and a large integration of them causes various problems in the power systems, e.g. frequency fluctuation and energy surplus. Controllable loads such as Heat Pump Water Heaters has gained much attention as a solution to these problems. In this research, the HPWHs are divided into many groups and an optimal operation method of the groups of HPWHs is proposed, which minimizes the daily operation cost of thermal power plants and alleviates the surplus energy by use of tabu search.
