要約(日本語): Recently GW-class PV power plants are planned in dessert areas in the world to contribute to global warming issues. It needs a long-distance power transmission line to transmit a large capacity of power from the desert area to a remote large-demand area. However, the PV power causes frequency fluctuation intensely in the power system due to solar radiation changes. This paper, therefore, proposes a long-distance HVDC transmission system directly connected into a large capacity of PVs and a control method of its DC voltage by charging and discharging its DC capacitor to suppress the frequency fluctuation and evaluates its control performances in the power system.
