要約(日本語): This paper discusses the modeling of a cable installed in a HDPE tube. This type of cable is used in countries like France for protecting the environment from heat generated by the cable. A Finite-Elements software is used to analyze the effect of the HDPE tube in the impedance and admittance of the cable. A formula for including the HDPE on cable parameters is explored and validated through EMTP simulation against a field test result. The results using the proposed formula agree with those using impedance and admittance matrices from the Finite-Elements software.
