要約(日本語): For the purpose of large?scale wind power transmission, Multi?Terminal Voltage?Source Converter High Voltage Direct Current (VSC?MTDC) system installations have been suggested in many projects globally. Nonetheless, the high investment costs of VSC?MTDC systems are still one of the critical barriers to be overcome. In this context, a capacity determination method for a VSC?MTDC system based on multi?period small?signal stability constrained optimal power flow is proposed in this paper. The investment costs of a new AC transmission system and a VSC?MTDC system are compared by this method to reveal the economic benefits of the VSC?MTDC system for large?scale wind power transmission. Several load patterns are considered in multi?period small?signal stability constrained optimal power flow. Unlike previous methods, the convergence of problems can be significantly improved since all periods are dealt with separately.
