要約(日本語): A new Ohmic heating (OH) system with bipolar circuit is designed to achieve plasma current of 180kA. IGBT stacks work as switches to change the polarity of OH primary current.The current is distributed to IGBTs. An interlock system controlled through FPGA works for safe operation of IGBT stacks and high power current sources. The capacitor bank can ramp up primary current in short time to provide high loop voltage to plasma.
