要約(日本語): In recent years, a large amount of renewable energy has been installed into a small power grid such as a remote island. However, the installation may cause the frequency fluctuation and may generate surplus power. In this paper, the optimal scheduling for charging and discharging of Electric Vehicles is presented and an optimal operational scheduling is presented in a remote island power grid with large penetration of renewable energy. In addition, a constraint to secure the load frequency control capacity of a remote island power grid is proposed the required capacity of the battery energy storage system is examined. The results of numerical simulations made it clear that the coordination control between battery energy storage system and controllable loads have an impact on the battery capacity for absorbing surplus power and mitigate the frequency fluctuation.
