要約(日本語): Battery energy storage systems (BESS) are the promising technology to increase benefit from photovoltaic (PV) system in the decreasing feed-in tariff (FIT) and expired FIT contract conditions. This paper proposes an approach to evaluate the optimal BESS size for commercial customers. The optimal BESS size is assessed by a cost-benefit analysis using net present value (NPV) and linear programming (LP). To study the effect of the PV system size, the proposed approach is applied to a commercial load with a PV system. The results showed that the size of the installed PV system significantly affects the economics of BESS investment.
