要約(日本語): A novel partial discharge (PD) monitoring system utilizing inexpensive PLC (PLC-PDMS) has been proposed and constructed. The principle of detecting PD is that PLC recognizes PD as a disturbance and reduces the communication rate (PHY rate). We have shown that PLC-PDMS can be used to effectively detect PDs from defect-simulated electrodes. Furthermore, we have proposed an automatic decision algorithm to identify PDs from external noises and incorporated it into PLC-PDMS. This paper presents long-term online PD monitoring using PLC-PDMS in a distribution substation compared with that using a conventional PD measurement.
