要約(日本語): Housing of polymer insulators is made of silicone rubber (SiR). If the surface of SiR insulator exposes to UV irradiation and pollution for a long time, their hydrophobic properties and electrical performance decrease. In this study, considering natural factors, the degradation layers on the SiR surface were fabricated by red clay and UV irradiation, and their characteristics were analyzed. Even after the surface of SiR was washed with water, red clay adhesion still remained on the SiR surface. Additionally, it was found that the more UV irradiation time, the longer the contact angle recovery time.
