要約(日本語): Epoxy resin is widely used as insulating material of molded transformers. In the epoxy resin, voids may exist owing to imperfection of insulation manufacturing. The electric field becomes high in the voids, and partial discharges (PDs) and electrical trees occur. Therefore, it is crucial to investigate PD and electrical treeing phenomena. _x000D_ In this study, we observed PD activities in an artificial - 1 mm void of epoxy resin including insulation paper by using several sensors. Based on the results, we investigated the growth of electrical treeing and a temporal variation of PD magnitude.
