要約(英語): Unit commitment (UC) is a useful tool for system operators and planners to obtain economical scheduling of power generation in power market.Its objective determines to operate a set of units optimally over a time horizon to meet a variable load demand at minimum cost satisfying technical This paper firstly presents comprehensive overview of UC problems and also several approaches for UC.A comparative analysis study of plants optimization to solve UC problem with different scenarios using conventional Dynamic Programming (DP) is presented. In addition, due to the high dimensionality of DP, Priority List Dynamic Programming is also introduced comparing the results from the former one.
