要約(英語): In Myanmar, radial distribution lines connected to rural area are long length and electricity demand is increasing continuously on the existing Yangon distribution system. It is leading to poor voltage profile and higher power losses in the system. There are several ways for solving voltage drop and line losses. In the past research work, it has been studied to solve these issues by applying network reconfiguration method. Reconfiguration means restructuring the feeder lines by placing sectionalizing switches and tie switches. This paper presents a combination method that is joining up of network reconfiguration method and allocation of capacitor banks. Reconfiguration is carried out by changing the on/off status of opening sectionalizing switches and closing tie switches. Exhaustive Search Technique, the simplest of all search methods, is applied for reconfiguration. Capacitor banks are also installed in order to compensate reactive power because most of the loads in the system are inductive loads. Genetic Algorithm(GA)is to find the location of capacitor placement. These two important methods are combined together for a better result of loss reduction and voltage profile improvement. The proposed combination method is testing based on the real time data of the radial distribution system in Khayan Township in Yangon. In this study, voltage improvement within acceptable range and power loss reduction has been executed. The executed simulation results approve on the effectiveness of the proposed method.
