要約(英語): This study proposes Solution Judgement Strategy in Dragonfly Algorithm (DA-SJS). In the simulation of Dragonfly Algorithm (DA), updated positions of dragonflies depend on many random parameters. Due to this matter, some dragonflies are in a worse region where a better food source is not located. They provide inaccurate solutions for problems. To overcome this issue, DA-SJS is to mix all dragonflies in latest and current iterations, evaluated and then rank their own solutions. Only the good solutions of dragonflies within the determined number of dragonflies are nominated for the next simulation, and other dragonflies are eliminated. In this study, using the IEEE 30 bus test system, the total cost of power generation and the bus voltage deviation are combined as the multi-objective optimization. As a result, DA-SJS is efficient in solving the multi-objective optimization comparing to other optimization algorithms.
