要約(英語): This paper presents the impact of large-scale gird-connected photovoltaic system on transient stability of Myanmar National Grid system. DigSilent PowerFactory power system analysis software is used to analyze the impact on the transient stability of the system by modeling the existing transmission network of Myanmar The output power data of current photovoltaic power plant is collected to analyze the intermittent nature of PV system. The effect of a sudden loss of output from PV on the existing transmission network of Myanmar is investigated by applying the sudden loss of output from PV plants according to the characteristic of current PV power plant. The result has shown that the impact of large photovoltaic penetration on the existing Myanmar Network has considerable effects on the system stability such as voltage stability,rotor angle swing and system frequency.
