要約(英語): This paper proposes analytical derivation technique of the step response time directly from system’s transfer function. The step response time for far has been evaluated from the time-domain function obtained from frequency-domain function by Laplace inverse transform which is not not always possible. Using the proposed technique, requirements for the reference measuring system for impulse voltage can easily be confirmed. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the technique, authors analysed 1) well-known voltage divider whose step response has not been evaluated and 2) a co-axial cable. Gneralised co-axial cable analyses were carried out both frequency- and time-domains.
