要約(英語): In this paper, an efficient method is proposed to optimize the output variables for D-STATCOMs in distribution networks. The proposed method makes use of Predator-Prey Brain Storm Optimization (PPBSO) which is an extension of BSO to strengthen the search for intensification and diversification. Also, the idea of Robust Optimization is applied to PPBSO to consider uncertainties in distribution networks. The proposed method is successfully applied to the IEEE sample system.
