要約(英語): Lightning impulse voltage (LI) measuring system’s (i.e. voltage divider and connected devices) performance is also evaluated by the numerical convolution of the sum of two exponential functions (S2X) and system’s unit step response. This appraisal is defined in IEC 60060-1 ed.3:20101). In the convolution calculation, one has to give precise values to a and b of S2X, A(exp(-at)-exp(-bt)) , for the specific waveform of T1/T2 impulse.In the forthcoming IEC 60060-1 ed.4 to be published within a few years, it has already been concluded that the notation of switching impulse voltage (SI) is not written by Tp/t50 impulse but by the same definition as T1/T2 impulse used in LI. This suggests that there would be requirements in SI to compute a and b values from the LI-style notation T1/T2. In the similar attempt, authors have proposed approximation3). of a and b values for a given T1/T2. Authors now wish to propose a novel evaluation procedure in this paper.
