要約(日本語): The power system with high penetration of inverter-based resources (IBRs) is exposed to the challenges, such as increase of frequency fluctuation, rise of rate of change of frequency (RoCOF), and reduction of short circuit current capacity. To tackle the above issues, the grid forming inverter (GFM) is regarded as a key technology since it can provide both of the inertia and short circuit current to the power system. Although many researches evaluated the performance of the GFM on its frequency stabilization effect, most of them were based on the time-domain simulation in the specific multi-machine system. This paper focuses on the qualitative explanation on the frequency stabilization of the GFM, and the proposal of the simple benchmark system model for the evaluation of frequency stabilization effect by resources. Finally, the validity of qualitative approach is confirmed by electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation on the benchmark system model.
