要約(日本語): In Japan, large amount of renewable energy such as the photovoltaic (PV) and wind power generations are introduced for achievement of carbon neutral. However, the supply-demand imbalance and the power flow congestion can be caused by the distribution and the uncertainty of renewable energy. Therefore, the introduction of the simultaneous spot and balancing market clearing operation has been discussed. The day-ahead supply-demand schedule is determined by security constraints unit commitment (SCUC) considering grid constraints. In general, the power flow equation is formulated by direct current (DC) method in SCUC. However, the system operator may be unable to avoid the violation caused by transmission losses and stability because they cannot be considered by DC method. Therefore, in this paper, a method to detect and avoid grid constraint violations for the supply-demand schedule considering the simultaneous market is proposed. The proposed method is evaluated by numerical simulations conducted on the modified IEEE Reliability Test System considering large integration of PV generation.
