要約(英語): The main motivation behind the design of power electronics converters is driven by the urge for a higher power density, lightweight, smaller size, the cost of a watt per power transferred, and high full-load efficiency. However, the switching frequency increase translates to increased switching losses. Additionally, when the converter switches are hard switched, during the on and off process, the device is subjected to high voltage and current, which is supposed to withstand, which increases stress and high switching losses. Increased losses result in reduced system efficiency. This work investigates these losses.
