要約(英語): This paper proposed a strategy for a cluster of heterogenous BESS units to support the LFC dispatch where traditional generators are not able to completely track the target signal due to their slow ramping capabilities. By relying on sparse communication, the cyber-physical system of BESS units applies a distributed, multi-agent based SoC balancing technique to fully utilize the power and energy constraints of the units during LFC dispatch. The dispatch coefficient is determined by an incremental cost consensus protocol. Simulations have shown how the proposed strategy improves the LFC dispatch.
