要約(日本語):Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) insulators, which are porcelain or glass insulators coated with silicone rubber, have excellent resistance to contamination due to their sustained water repellency, but there is still room for further study before they can be used in practical facilities. Therefore, a contamination withstand voltage test was carried out to understand the basic characteristics of porcelain insulators and glass insulators coated with RTV silicone rubber. The results showed that the RTV insulators had a higher withstand voltage than normal insulators in the initial test, but that the withstand voltage of the test insulators decreased after discharge due to a decrease in water repellency.
