要約(日本語): Typical blockchain protocols suffer either from a vast waste of energy (e.g., proof-of-work) or from a lack of scalability and unpredictable timeliness (e.g., permissioned blockchain based on Byzantine-agreement). These two aspects  limit their applicability to electric power trading.In contrast, electricity distribution has specific characteristics that can be leveraged to provide a tailor-made protocol that can address these issues adequately and provide probabilistic agreement in guaranteed time without wasting energy solving a useless computational puzzle (e.g., proof-of-work). The protocol relies on accurate and reliable time synchronization provided via the power distribution network.We present an analysis of block diffusion of via extensive network simulations.
