要約(日本語): Previous studies discussed several illusions of multisensory integration such as the McGurk effect and the double-flash effect. It is valuable to study how postdiction affects senses so we may approach a more profound understanding of how the human brain works with multi-senses and develop more applications. However, existing research only addresses one direction of the audiovisual illusion, thus we are lacking a common and detectable stimuli which can evaluate bidirectional audio-visual illusions. In this research we confirmed 2 illusions from a recent article. By adding noise and controlling volume, audio stimuli stopped to be dominant and visual stimuli affect what we hear. Thus we proved the possibility of using sound as a common stimuli triggering bidirectional audiovisual illusion.
