要約(日本語): Previous studies have shown that differences in EEG signals of individual finger movements during motor execution (ME) tasks are distinguishable. Thus, it’s possible to detect the distinction between different hand movements. Motor imagery (MI) is the imagining of performing and exercising without actual physical movement. If an imagery of finger movement can be detected, this study can be applied to help disabled people operate their prostheses more flexibly. In this research, we would like to distinguish three hand movements during MI and ME tasks based on EEG, which are grasping, pinching, and the extension. Different from the grasping movement which can hold some comparatively large objects, pinching by two fingers would make it easier to locate some tiny objects such as string.
