要約(日本語): Transdermal drug delivery systems (TDDSs) have many advantages over conventional drug delivery routes such as oral and hypodermic injections. TDDS reduces the patient burden and avoids the first-pass metabolism effects. However, further applications of TDDS are limited by the high barrier function of the skin and uncontrolled drug release. In this study, we will prepare nanosized liposomes which load fluorescent substances as drug models, encapsulate them into a hydrogel patch, and irradiate ultrasound to the patch for drug release. By comparing fluorescent intensity outside the patch before and after irradiation, we attempt to show that this system improves receptivity passing through the skin barrier and controls drug release by using ultrasound as a trigger.
