要約(日本語): Research on neuroscience has shown that the human brain spontaneously generates individual rhythms which influence our behaviors, movements, and preferences. Information on micro-periodic motion of the legs can be utilized to study the generation of brain rhythms. To implement this approach with computer vision technology, we developed a system designed to measure the frequency of such motion. To collect the required data, we used particle video, which is a motion estimation method for video images. Many motion estimation methods are affected by variations in the background, such as the movement of other people in uncontrolled scenes. Therefore, we constructed a robust system to compensate for changes in the background of video content by using features of particle video. This work describes our proposed system for measuring the frequency of spontaneous micro-periodic motion using particle video.
