要約(日本語): Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) has been applied as one of multi-level modulation schemes. In 16-QAM scheme, high Peak-to-Average Ratio (PAPR) becomes a big problem since the high power efficiency devices of wireless communication are required. To solve this problem, hexagonal constellation symbol mapping has been proposed to reduce the PAPR. On the real propagation environment, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system is sensitive to signal distortion such as multipath channel and frequency offset. When the pilot signals are used to compensate the signal distortion, the combination of pilot signals and the mapping need to be considered. In this paper, a signal compensation scheme with hexagonal constellation is studied and Bit Error Rate(BER) are evaluated.
