要約(日本語): Brain computer interface (BCI) research can build stronger connections between humans and machines. In BCI field, there has been research for motor imagery (MI) of different tasks within the same limb, such as grasping and flexion. However, there is little research about MI for different ways of picking things up. The first aim of this research is to detect the differences in MI of 3 gestures: five-finger-extension, five-finger-grasping and two-finger-pinching, which can be applied to prosthesis for helping disabled people move more flexibly. Since these 3 gestures have different performing complexities for MI, the second aim of this research is to investigate the MI performance based on task difficulties to find either easy-performing or difficult tasks has better recognition during MI.
