要約(日本語): In our previous study, we proposed a method for detecting and displaying articulation movements in real-time Magnetic Resonance Imaging (rtMRI) movies using optical flow. However, this method was only evaluated on rtMRI movies of single-mora /ra/ vocalizations, which was insufficient to fully demonstrate its effectiveness. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to evaluate the method by comparing its output results for different vowels. Specifically, we applied the method to rtMRI movies of monophthongs that contain the /r/ consonant, and observed distinct optical flow patterns for each vowel, suggesting differences in tongue movement for each vowel. Our findings not only provide further evidence of the effectiveness of the proposed method but also highlight some new challenges.
