要約(日本語): Nanotubes are structures that control the transport of substances in and out of artificial cell membranes. Research on nanotubes is important in the development of biosensing and drug release devices. DNA nanotubes are nanotubes made of DNA, which allows them to have various functions. In previous studies, DNA nanotubes whose lid opening and closing can be controlled by various kinds of stimuli have been proposed. Unlike the previous DNA nanotubes, we aim to develop the one with lids that can be controlled to open and close by ultrasound irradiation (US-DNA nanotubes). A US-DNA nanotube consist of a tubular base (DNA nanotube) and two lids (Lock1, Lock2). In this study, we confirmed the synthesis of Lock1 and Lock2 and the binding of locks to DNA nanotube by electrophoresis.
