要約(日本語): Our research group is developing a method of presenting vertical posture for patients with pusher syndrome, a somatosensory hemiplegia that distorts the vertical perception of posture. Rehabilitation of the patients with visual impairment is a challenging topic since visual cues are normally used for pusher syndrome patients. Galvanic Vestibular Stimulation (GVS) is being investigated for the rehabilitation and is expected to be applicable to patients with both somatosensory and visual impairments. In GVS, it is known that the stimulus produces the body tilting and changes in postural sway. In this study, we evaluate the relationship between the body tilting generated by GVS and the stimulus intensity, as well as the changes in human postural sway before and after the stimulus.
