要約(日本語):The Scheduling Additional Train Service (SATS) problem is crucial for optimizing freight insertion. Selection of service insertion window is a key feature of the SATS problem, often determined manually by operators. Our research introduces a method for predetermining the service insertion window and solving SATS problem in two steps. Firstly, trip cancellations in the tactical planning phase repurposes underutilized services and determine appropriate service insertion windows. A SATS problem is then solved with insertion windows as constraints. Multi-objective Mixed Integer Linear Programming was applied, balancing trip numbers, congestion, and travel time. We tested the approach on a railway timetable based on open data, demonstrating solution feasiblity for passenger rail.
