要約(日本語):We demonstrate a novel saturated red fluorescent electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) cell based on a DCM derivative, 4‑(dicyanomethylene)‑2‑tert‑butyl‑6‑(1,1,7,7‑tetramethyljulolidin‑9‑yl)‑4H‑pyran (DCJTB). DCJTB, which is a well-known red fluorescent dye and widely used in organic light-emitting diode (OLED) devices, was used as an emitter, while a carbazolyl dicyanobenzene (4CzIPN) was used as a redox mediator. Here, DCJTB was co-dissolved with 4CzIPN to prepare an ECL solution for the first time. The ECL cell, whose configuration is fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) cathode / DCJTB:4CzIPN solution / indium tin oxide (ITO) anode, successfully exhibited red emission derived from the excited DCJTB molecule with near-saturated CIE coordinates of (0.65, 0.35).
