要約(日本語)：We examined the effects of depressive states on ERPs elicited by words with different emotional valences. The depressive states of 13 participants were assessed using the BDI-II. Two-character kanji emotional words categorized as positive, negative, or neutral were presented. Participants with higher levels of depressive states exhibited characteristic modulations in two ERP components at the Cz electrode. The first component appeared between 100–200 ms, and the second component appeared between 600–800 ms. At both components, participants showed larger amplitudes in response to negative words compared to other words. These findings suggest that EEG responses to emotional words may serve as objective indicators of depressive states.
