要約(日本語):The isthmus region of root canals is a narrow, complex area that is difficult to clean using traditional chemical methods. As an alternative, applying a 500 kHz frequency electromagnetic wave through an electrode can generate heat for sterilization by Joule heating. However, achieving effective and safe temperature rise in such a small space remains a challenge. This study uses a numerical tooth model that retains key morphological features, including the isthmus, to simulate heat generation under different voltage and duty cycle conditions. A coupled analysis of electric current and temperature in the tooth model was performed to explore the best way to concentrate heat in the isthmus area while avoiding damage to surrounding tissue.
