要約(日本語):Augmented reality (AR) can provide immersive visual feedback that induces a sense of embodiment and has gained attention in neuroscience research. AR feedback may be beneficial for training motor imagery (MI) brain-computer interface systems in stroke rehabilitation. Nevertheless, the feasibility of this technology has not yet been investigated. We designed a realtime AR feedback system for left-right hand grasping MI tasks. A comparative experiment against monitor feedback was conducted in healthy subjects. The experiment includes a training session followed by multiple real-time sessions that display feedback based on the classification of MI. The evaluation of the MI’s band power, functional connectivity, and classification rate indicates notable benefits of AR feedback.
