要約(英語): We propose a device for generating spatially distributed airflow and/or odor-concentration fields. When two fans are placed facing each other, the airflows generated by them collide and are radially deflected on a plane perpendicular to the original airflow direction. By utilizing the deflected airflow, the airflow blowing from the front to the user can be presented. Odor-concentration distribution can be also generated by introducing odor vapors into the airflow generated using the fans. Here we report our attempts to suppress airflow generation in undesirable directions by adjusting the cross-sectional shape of the airflow jets coming from the fans.
