要約(日本語): The efficient voltage switching and controlling for 2D electrode array such as microelectrode array’s (MEA) is always a center focus for the chemical and biological studies. Biochemical processing is more noticeable for discrete fluids manipulation, which offers dynamic configurability, reusability, less reagent volume etc. Electrode addressing for discrete fluids fashion could be achieved by allocating a certain voltage for certain amount of time with a specific delay to the individual electrodes. The efficient space and time allocation could enhance the overall performance of the system. The execution of the idea has been implemented using electrowetting-on-dielectric (EWOD) principle on the thin-film-transistor (TFT) array. The MATLAB coupled COMSOL interface helps to make the system automated. The MATLAB helps for signaling the electrodes with user flexible control mechanism. The COMSOL provides 2D/3D graphic window for viewing the simulated results with stationary and time dependent simulation integrated with parametric swept facility. The execution of the idea has been implemented through MATLAB coupled COMSOL interface. Then the simulated results have been verified on an active matrix Thin-Film-Transistor array (TFT) device. MATLAB helps for signaling the electrodes with user flexible control mechanism. COMSOL provides 2D/3D graphic window for viewing the simulated results with stationary and time dependent simulation integrated with parametric swept facility.
