要約(日本語): An odor biosensor has already been established based on insect olfactory receptor (OR) and fluorescent protein in our previous work. Under the stimulation of corresponding ligands, the fluorescent intensity change shows a concentration-dependence feature. In this system, however, the detection threshold still has big gap with insect, also the hydrophobic ligand is dissolved in dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) instead of carried by odorant binding protein (OBP). Thus, we intend to apply the mosquito OBP-WTAgamOBP1 to imitate the biological olfactory system as well as improve the sensitivity. From the result, we can acquire some insight into the selectivity of OBP to various odorants.
