要約(日本語): 災害時に利用できる通信手段としてMANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network)があげられる。しかしながら、MANETには課題が多く実用段階までに至っていない。その課題の一つに、スマートデバイスが普及するなかその活用の検討が進んでいないことがあげられる。本研究では、MANETの活用に向けAndroid端末にMANET接続機能の実装を試みた。その上で、スマートデバイスとノートPCのそれぞれで構成されたMANETのスループットを比較し性能を評価する。その結果マルチホップ時にスマートデバイスはノートPCに比べ、よりスループットが低下するということを示している。

要約(英語): MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network) is one of the communication tools applicable in case of disaster. MANET, however, has many issues to be solved and does not reach the implementation step. One of the issues is that now penetrating smart devices are not well applied to MANET. This research tackles with implementing the MANET functionalities on Android devices. Moreover, it compares throughput performance of MANETs composed of smart devices and PCs. It shows that throughput of MANET by smart devices is lower than that of MANET by PCs in case of multi-hop situation.
