E-learning method utilizes an established local area network system to allow students to access directly to computers during the course. The new method was developed to obtain sufficient knowledge and ability in designing a desirable production plan. As both the teacher and the students are linked together within the system in the proposed method, interactive communicationamong the students and the teacher is expected. The software proposed was specifically design to support the production planning (MRP) system course. The proposed software intends to reduce the calculation effort, allow the students to switch their effort in generating more efficient plan,

and improves their interest in the subject. The final objective is to improve the knowledge attained during the course that used the new learning method.
