要約(日本語): In this paper we present a novel model of noise reduction for the human body vibration signals in wireless
sensor networks, which assumes that the noise appears not continuously or periodically but sparsely and it
is the summary of some transient signals at discrete time with large energy compared with the body
vibration signals’ energy. Furthermore, on the base of the model a new algorithm is developed which
takes advantages of wavelet transforms to remove the noise by the method of processing wavelet
transformation coefficients at each scale. The results of the experiments indicate that the new algorithm
has removed the noise of the signals successfully in the case of both human’s one discrete action and
continuous activities. Finally, the system of noise reduction for body vibration signals in wireless sensor
networks to monitor human behavior is built based on our proposed method. In this system, accelerometers
placed in the position of body’s parts sense vibration signals and wireless sensor modules Ni3 is used to transmit the
sensing data to PC, on which the software collects data and remove its noise to obtain the new signals well
representing the body vibration condition. The system using the proposed method removes noise successfully and
provides robust data source for human behavior recognition.
